How to save PDF pages as JPG or PNG images

Sometimes you need a page as a picture: to post a poster on social media, drop a diagram into a slide, or send one page in a chat app that doesn't open PDFs.

JPG or PNG?

• PNG keeps text and sharp lines crisp. It is the better choice for documents and diagrams.
• JPG makes smaller files and suits pages full of photos.

Steps

1. Open the QuickPDF converter and choose PDF to images.
2. Add one PDF.
3. Pick the format (PNG or JPG) and the quality. High gives larger, sharper images.
4. Click Convert to images. Each page appears as a preview.
5. Click a preview to download that page.

Tips

• Use High quality if you plan to zoom in or print the image.
• Long PDFs take longer because every page is drawn one at a time.
• Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
